China wood flooring industry is growing steadily at around 10% each year despite the current economic situation. The after-show report indicates that the parquet & laminate flooring section is still the most important procurement base for European and North American mainstream market. As the residential market is getting warm recently, the demand for interior design materials is picking up dramatically. Especially in China, the rigid demand for residential market further guarantees the total revenue and explores its market potentials.

Besides the traditional solid wood flooring, engineered wood flooring, laminated flooring and bamboo flooring, 2010 Parquet & Laminate section will combine regions with different product categories for the first time. Shanghai Fine Parquet & Laminate flooring section would no longer be the only focus of the show. Dunhua engineered wood flooring started from 2008, the blooming Anji bamboo flooring from early 2009, solid wood flooring from Nanxun and laminated flooring from town of Henglin have stolen the thunder by putting on latest products. Additionally, the brand new International Fine Parquet & Laminate Flooring section will bring forth more international brands targeting high-end markets.

Eco-Flooring will be another important theme for DOMOTEX asia/ CHINAFLOOR(DACF) 2010. The concept of ‘Health, Green, Environment-friendly’ has been adopted for mainstream society, which is also the core value that some of the exhibiting countries at 2010 Expo embrace. International buyer's market has been reshuffled. Therefore, besides the traditional buyer’s markets in Europe, US, Middle East and Russia, 2010 edition will have to pay close attention to domestic buyer’s market.
